I felt honoured to be asked to play the piano for Rachel and Dan’s wedding drinks reception especially as I’d known Rachel for many years as I used to teach her piano and violin, so it was extra special!
The couple gave me a list of their favourite songs and it was great to perform tracks such as ‘Love is A Compass’ by Griff and ‘I Won’t Give Up’ by Jason Mraz as drinks were being served at the lovely Moat House at Acton Trussell.
Situated in the charming Staffordshire countryside, it has its own idyllic lake which is so pretty and you can relax with a drink outside while watching the ducks and swans which sit and nest on the banks nearby.

The team at Up Up and Away created an amazing balloon hoop which is the perfect decoration for behind the cake table in the day and can be easily moved to light up the dance floor at night!
