Francesca and Adam picked Mythe Barn, a stunning peaceful countryside venue for their wedding.

The sun shone through the fields where sheep were grazing, and ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’ seemed an appropriate piece of violin music to begin the ceremony. I enjoyed playing ‘Take My Breath Away’ from the film Top Gun, Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’, Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story’ and ‘Stay With Me’ by Sam Smith as the guests were being seated.
For the bride’s arrival Fran chose ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ which I played on the violin alongside my piano backing track through my PA small speaker system, and while the register was signed I played the delightful ‘Married Life’ from the animated film Up, followed by Adele’s emotional ‘Make You Feel My Love’.
The couple decided to leave the ceremony to the music of Bruno Mars’ popular ‘Marry You’ which I always love to play as it creates such an upbeat happy atmosphere!
It was really nice to meet James, a wedding photographer from Staffordshire and he took some terrific shots of the couple.
