I sent Sarah-Mae a couple of audio recordings of my piano performance of ‘I Won’t Give Up’ by Jason Mraz, as she wanted to hear the difference between a simple chordal version alongside a more detailed decorative piano arrangement. She decided to walk down the aisle to the second version which sounded great inside the stunning ceremony room of Heaton House Farm.
It was fantastic to play ‘Married Life’ from the Up animated film, as this is one of my favourite pieces to play at weddings, its so charming! This was performed for the signing of the register along with ‘All You Need is Love’, and ‘Children’ by Robert Miles. The couple’s exit as man and wife was to the popular Beatles song ‘Here Comes the Sun’, and the guests enjoyed a bit of Classical, Jazz, and Dance music for the drinks reception including Lady Gaga’s ‘Edge of Glory’.
