It was such a lovely surprise to be able to play traditional hymns for such a large number in the congregation at this church wedding at the gorgeous St John the Baptist in Stowe-by-Chartley near Stafford.
The bride chose ‘I Giorni‘ by Einaudi for her entrance down the aisle which was really moving. More of this composer’s atmospheric music was played by me on my keyboard as the couple signed the register.
For their recessional I played a medley of Taylor Swift songs; ‘Wildest Dreams’, ‘Love Story’ and ‘Cardigan’ and was honoured and delighted to be asked to join the guests for a glass of champagne afterwards at a wonderful Tipi reception with the dazzling Roundabout Swing Band.
