‘Valerie’, Amy Winehouse’s fantastic song, was the opening violin melody that I performed at Edgbaston Park Hotel for an outdoor wedding ceremony as guests arrived. I loved playing Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’ as the bride walked down the aisle and ‘All of Me’ by John Legend was very popular with the guests as the couple departed for the drinks reception.
During the drinks, as it was a special football evening, I played ‘Three Lions’ which everyone sang along to!
